From Cutlery to Jewelry
Every piece I make starts with something that already existed.
Old cutlery & sk8boards— things that were once used every day and then left behind. I like the idea that these materials already carry a history before they even become jewelry.
The process always begins with finding. I collect cutlery from second-hand shops, markets, and places along my travels. I’m drawn to pieces that feel a bit imperfect — scratches, worn edges, small details that make them unique.
Back in my workspace, the transformation starts.
Each piece is carefully selected and then cut down into smaller parts. From there, I start shaping it into a ring or charm. It’s a very hands-on process — cutting, bending, sanding, polishing — slowly revealing what the piece wants to become.
What I love most is that no two pieces are ever the same. Even if they start from similar materials, they always end up with their own character — shaped by the original object, but also by the process it went through.
In the end, what was once just a piece of cutlery becomes something new. Something you can wear, carry, and continue its story with.
A small object, with a second life.
